Bristol police issued a Silver Alert for an 18-year-old girl who was reported missing by her father on Sunday morning.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, officers have been actively trying to fund Ashley Tanguay after she failed to arrive on a bus in Clarksville, Tenn. to meet her mother. She suffers from mental health issues and a social skills disorder, the release said.
Ashley’s father reported that Ashley is involved in various dangerous and inappropriate behaviors, and believes that her overall mental health issues leave her vulnerable and incredibly impressionable to adults, the release said. Several police agencies have been notified along the bus scheduled route in an effort to find Ashley, and recent developed information locates Ashley in the Bridgeport area, the release said.
Ashley is described as a white female, with a height of 5-foot-10 and a weight of 160 pounds, the release said. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a royal blue sweatshirt, the release said.
