With the Vietnam Wall That Heals visit to Bristol this week, the Memorial Boulevard will remain closed now until Monday morning.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, the Boulevard will be closed to traffic in both directions between Riverside Avenue and Mellon Street until 6 a.m. on Monday. To avoid congestions, drivers passing through the area should seek alternate routes, the release said.
The public is welcome to view The Wall both day and night on the Boulevard. According to the release, parking is available in the Memorial Boulevard School parking lot, the South Street parking lot, the East Street parking lot (where handicap parking is available), lower Willis Street and South Street (along the westbound curb line.
