More BB gun shots fired leaves 58-year-old man injured

A 58-year-old man was injured on the right side of his face and neck after an assault involving a BB gun on Blakeslee Street last night.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, officers found the victim suffering from two puncture type wounds, which were consistent with those caused by a BB gun. His injuries were not life threatening, the release said.
The victim told police he was walking north on Blakeslee Street at about 7 p.m. when he heard a couple of shots that he thought were from a paintball gun, and then felt a stinging sensation on the right side of his face, the release said. When the victim looked up, the suspect holding the gun confronted him, and fired a couple more shots before heading south on Blakeslee Street, the release said. Although patrol units and a K-9 unit searched the area, the suspect was not found, the release said.
This incident is similar to the one that took place over the weekend in front of the Disabled American Veterans Hall on Riverside Avenue. Both locations are in close proximity, and the description of the suspect is similar, the release said. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 20 and 30 with a stocky build, according to the release. He also appears to be between 5’7 and 5’9, and was last seen wearing a gray baseball style shirt with blue sleeves and a blue baseball cap or bandana, the release said. On Sunday, the suspect was wearing dark colored clothing, a hat, and may have had tattoos on his right arm, the release said.
