A motorcycle driver was transported by Life Star to a nearby Hartford area hospital today for treatment after an accident with a motor vehicle, according to a press release from the Bristol Police Department.
Just before noon today, officers responded to the intersection of East Road and Willis Street for an accident involving a car and motorcycle, the release said. The driver of the motorcycle has serious injuries, while the driver of the car was not injured, according to the release. At this time S.T.A.R.T. (Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team) is still investigating, and the cause of the accident is unknown, the release said.
