A man was robbed and stabbed on Saturday afternoon at a Forestville car wash, police reported.
Police said that at 2:30 p.m., officers were called to the Bristol Hospital Emergency Room to speak with a 57-year-old man. The man said he had been robbed at knife point. In the process, the man told police, he suffered a laceration to his left forearm in the alleged robbery. Police said the three inch laceration appeared to have been caused by some type of edged weapon or sharp object, and required sutures.
During his interview with police, the victim stated he was at Mr. Bubbles Car Wash, 135 East Main St., Forestville. The victim told the police he was emptying rubbish out of his car next to the dumpster when he was attacked by two men. One of the men had a knife and during the struggle the victim was cut on the left forearm, said police.
Police said the victim stated his assailants were both white males approximately 6’0” in height. Police said, “The assailants supposedly left the scene with the contents of the victim’s wallet, personal papers and an undetermined amount of money.”
The victim was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital.
At this time, police said there are no suspects in the robbery.
