A 33-year-old woman is suffering several gunshot wounds after shots were fired on Davis Drive early this morning.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, officers responded to the area of 262-264 Davis Drive shortly after midnight when they found the victim had several gunshot wounds to her upper torso, and was lying on the ground. She was sent to Saint Francis Hospital, the release said.
A K-9 officer attempted a track to locate the suspect(s), but none were found, the release said.
Officers also found a vehicle that sustained damage from the gunshots as well as a home that was struck during the incident, the release said. The incident remains under investigation.
