Police investigate armed robbery at Valero

Bristol police are investigating an armed robbery that took place last night the Valero store on West Street.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, the cashier was getting ready to close when a man robbed him at knife-point. The cashier told police that the man demanded money and threatened to kill him, the release said. The cashier, who was not injured during the robbery, did not resist, and the suspect ran off with an undetermined amount of money from the register, the release said.
The suspect is described as a stocky white or light-skinned wearing a mask and dark clothing, the release said. A police search of the area, as well as a K-9-unit was not able to find the suspect.
