Expect road closures during Children’s Holiday Parade

With the Children’s Holiday Parade scheduled to take place on Sunday in downtown Bristol, drivers traveling through this area can expect road closures.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, these closures will take place on Main Street, High Street and Bellevue Avenue from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Police officers will be assigned to the parade route for traffic control, the release said.
The following streets will be posted as no parking: both sides of Bellevue Avenue, both sides of High Street between Main Street and Elm Street, and both sides of Main Street between Riverside Avenue and Summer Street. Violators will be tagged and towed.
