Bristol police are searching for two suspects involved in a robbery that took place last Thursday in the Birges Pond area.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, two victims were in a parked vehicle when another vehicle pulled up behind them. The victims reported that both suspects approached their car on either side and smashed out the front windows of the victim’s car at the same time, the release said. The suspects forced the victims out of the car, held them at gunpoint, and demanded that the male victim give them his wallet, the release said. The man complied, according to the release.
Both victims sustained non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted by the suspects, the release said. The suspects then stole the victim’s car and fled the scene, the release said. The stolen car is a 2006 black BMW Model 325 xi. The plate of the car was CT 8AVEP7, according to the release.
Both suspects were described as black males about six feet tall with an athletic build, the release said. One suspect was wearing red basketball shoes, the release said. Meanwhile, the suspect vehicle was described as a gray or silver colored molder model Subaru Forester SUV, which had only one working headlight, the release said.
