The Bristol Police Department reports of a number of snow plow thefts that took place in the region.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, the thefts occur while the plows are disconnected from the plow vehicle, and an unknown person(s) drive up to the plow, connect to it, and drive away.
The police department has received one recent report of such a theft that too place in December, the release said. This information is being provided to make Bristol snow plow owners aware of a trend identified in the region so they can take appropriate measures to protect their property, the release said.
