Bristol police have identified a man shot in the West End area early Friday morning.
According to a news release, officers were dispatched after receiving reports of a 33-year-old male who was shot during an alteration in the street at the corner of Divinity St. and Landry St. The victim, Emanuel “Manny” Maldonado, a Bristol resident, then sought assistance at the nearby West End Café, where employees called 911, the release said.
The man had multiple gunshots wounds and was transported to the hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition, according to the release. The suspect has not yet been identified.
