Police are on the lookout for the person who robbed a Lake Avenue convenience store at gunpoint on Tuesday night.
Police said that at 8:52 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, officers were dispatched to the Time Saver Convenience Store, 350 Lake Ave. Police said the lone sclerk at Time Saver reported he had closed for the evening and was getting into his vehicle when he was threatened by a male with a handgun. Police said the clerk told officers, the male demanded the bag he was carrying, and once he received it he fled on foot.
The clerk was not injured.
Police said the suspect has been described as wearing gray baggy clothing and a ski mask. Police said the clerk was unable to provide any further description.
Police said the thief managed to steal some personal belongings and an undetermined amount of cash.
