Bristol Police Explorers recently competed in the 2016 Northeast Regional Law Enforcement Education Association S.W.A.T. Challenge, according to a press release from the Bristol Police Department.
The event took place at the King 33 training facility in Southington on Nov. 5, the release said. Explorers competed against ten other teams from Connecticut and New York, and won the following awards, the release said.
First place: Hostage Rescue
Second place: High Risk Stops
Second place: Drug Search Warrant Service
