On Friday, July 15, beginning at 4 p.m. and ending on Sunday, July 17 at 12 p.m., two Bristol Police officers will be taking part in Cop On Top at the Stop & Shop, located at 597 Farmington Ave. in Bristol.
Stop & Shop will be sponsoring the event to support the Jimmy Fund. The officers will be on the roof soliciting donations throughout the three days.
All the money raised will go towards the Jimmy Fund, which supports cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
