The Bristol Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will hold a Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Anyone who wishes to eliminate potentially dangerous, expired, unused, unwanted prescription drugs from their homes can bring them to the front lobby of the Bristol Police Department. The DEA will not accept liquids, needles or sharps—only pills or patches, according to a press release from the Bristol Police Department. The service is free and anonymous.
For more information about the disposal of prescription drugs or about Take Back Day, visit www.dea.gov or the Bristol Police Department’s Facebook page or website, www.ci.bristol.ct.us.
