Police officers and volunteers will be stationed along the route of the Bristol Half Marathon & Relay Race on Sunday to provide safety and traffic control for participants.
The race for Fisher House will begin at 8 a.m., and will last three hours. It will start and end by Healthtrax on 842 Clark Avenue. As runners will be on the roadway, drivers traveling through the area should use caution and prepare to stop, according to the Bristol Police Department in a press release.
Runners will be on the following roads as reported in the release: Routes 6 and 72, Clark Ave., North Main St., Race St., Matthews St., Perkins St., Hill St., James P. Casey Rd., and Rockwell Park.
