Police arrest two suspects connected to liquor store robbery

Bristol police arrested and charged two men connected with a robbery at Bristol Liquor Store Outlet this evening.

According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, 25-year-old Joel McCall and 22-year-old Jemeil White entered the store on Memorial Boulevard and each stole a bottle of liquor. The clerk detained one suspect while the other suspect ran off, the release said. The suspect who was detained told the clerk he had a gun, and a facsimile firearm was found, the release said. Meanwhile the other suspect was located a short distance away, the release said.

McCall was charged with first degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first degree robbery, sixth degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth degree larceny and illegal use of a facsimile firearm.

White was charged with first degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first degree robbery, sixth degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth degree larceny.

Both men were held on a $75,000 bond, the release said.
