After several months of investigation, police have identified, arrested and charged the suspect connected to a shooting that took place on Davis Drive last May.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, officers arrested 20-year-old Jahquan Tutein of Bristol on Thursday. He was charged with first degree assault, criminal possession of a pistol, carrying a pistol without a permit, first degree reckless endangerment, and third degree criminal mischief, the release said. Tutein was processed and held on a $250,000 court set bond, according to the release.
Last May, Bristol police were dispatched to Bristol Hospital to investigate a complaint about a male undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound to his arm, police said in the release. The victim, 23-year-old Kenneth Slaughter of Meriden, suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm, according to the release.
