A New Britain man was arrested early Friday morning after a report of shots fired in the West End.
Police said the call came into the department at 12:54 a.m.
Police said an

investigation was conducted and Shamound Daley of 31 Columbia St., Apt. # 2, New Britain was arrested and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying a firearm under the influence of alcohol/drugs, stealing a firearm, interfering with a police officer, and larceny fourth degree.
He was held on a $75,000 bond.
