Police are on the look out for a robbery suspect, who may have been doused with red dye after the money bag he grabbed exploded while he was holding it

Last Tuesday, around 5 p.m., the Webster Bank, 797 Pine St., Bristol was robbed by a lone white male suspect, said police. Police said the suspect appeared to be between 5’8” and 6’2” tall, and had an Eastern European type accent.
The suspect was provided an undetermined amount of cash and cash equipped with marking dye packs, which exploded while in his possession, said police. That dye, which may have marked the suspect with red dye, also may have contaminated the remainder of the stolen money with red dye.
Anyone seeing a person with red dye markings or receiving money with red dye on it should contact their local police department.
Police said the suspect was dressed in all black clothing, a black knit mask, black ball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, and a black over coat style coat. A firearm was shown and money was demanded.
