SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (AP) _ A Southington middle school has been locked down when a staff member reported seeing a man in a military jacket in the building.
The man wearing the suspect jacket in the John F. Kennedy Middle School on Tuesday was a student.
The New Britain Herald reported (http://bit.ly/1o2MDJ2 ) that the school was placed in lockdown for two hours.
Sgt. Jeffrey Dobratz said the man didn’t look as if belonged in the school, but that there was no threat.
The student was not identified and was not charged.
